How much are you fond of sport? Is it an important part of your life or just an enjoyment?
Or, maybe, you don’t even like sport at all? For many people sport is the way to become stronger and healthier. For some people sport is their profession. For others it is the whole life. For Bruce Lee sport was more than a life, it was his philosophy.
Bruce Lee was a kung fu movie star in the 50’s. Many young boys dreamt to become as cool as him. He showed people a model of a healthy lifestyle and made them interested in martial arts.
The kung fu master himself was not only talented in martial arts, but also very hardworking. Lee’s trainings were legendary – many professional sportsmen say. He did really a lot to become stronger and faster than many other fighters. He also was very flexible.
And the more he worked out, the more invulnerable he was.
Is it possible to start training the same way as Bruce Lee? Let’s see what exercises he did.
In his daily routine there were standard push-ups and sits-ups. Bruce also worked with weights in the gym. He always began his training with running and he finished it with stretching. Sounds not too heavy. This is a normal sport program for most people, but don’t forget that Bruce Lee was a professional athlete. If you are a beginner, it is a big risk to start training as much as him. Bruce came a long way to become famous. If your dream is to work out like Bruce Lee, do it step by step and the further you will train, the closer you will be to your goal.
Meditation was also a big part of Bruce’s everyday life. His most famous words were:
‘Be like water, my friend’. It means that if you are as shapeless and calm as water you will find the way through any problem – in fight or life. Bruce Lee practiced not only the traditional meditation, but also did martial dancing tai chi to clear his mind and soul.
Everyday trainings and thoughtful meditation made him not only the strongest warrior, but also the most famous fighting movie star.
