They weren't saying a word, but they were holding hands so tightly that it seemed as if they were afraid the world might pull them apart. They were waiting for someone—perhaps a grandchild they hadn't seen in years. When a young boy finally ran toward them, the look of pure joy on the grandmother’s face was something I won't soon forget.A few meters away, the mood was completely different. A businessman in a sharp navy suit was pacing back and forth, shouting into his phone. He looked like he was on the verge of a breakdown. He kept checking his expensive watch every thirty seconds, clearly frustrated by a delay. It made me wonder: what is so important that it’s worth losing your peace of mind over?I used to think that we are all very different, but watching the crowd changed my perspective. Whether it’s a student nervous about an exam or a traveler excited about a new adventure, we all share the same basic feelings. We are all heading somewhere, hoping for the best, and dealing with our own "delays" in life.By the time I finished my coffee, my own worries didn't seem so heavy anymore. I realized that my problems were just a small part of a much bigger picture. I stood up, took a deep breath, and walked toward the exit, feeling surprisingly refreshed. Sometimes, you don't need a vacation to escape your life; you just need to realize that you are part of a much larger, beautiful mess.
